American Express Canada has announced that it is proud to be a Major Sponsor of the Taste of Toronto Festival for the fourth year in a row. Card members will once again have exclusive access to mouthwatering benefits through American Express Invites across the four day festival at Garrison Common at Fort York, including Front of the Line access to tickets and a special Card member bundle package.

Taste launched in London, England in 2004, and has since grown into an international foodie phenomenon hosting these festivals in cities across the globe including Amsterdam, Dubai, Milan and Sydney. Toronto is currently the only North American destination of this tour.

Toronto’s take on the fourth annual festival runs from June 15th to June 18th and offers food lovers the opportunity to taste top-rated dishes, attend hands on cooking classes and wine tastings, and interact with top chefs including, Aarón Sánchez, Rob Gentile, Victor Barry and many more.  Eighteen of the city’s top restaurants will be dishing up their hottest fare over six half-day sessions.  Guests will also be able to participate in live food demonstrations, sample unique offerings, gain tips and tricks from the best chefs in the city, attend interactive wine tastings, and enjoy live music.

Through American Express Invites, card members not only enjoy access to Front of the Line tickets and a special card member package, they, along with their guests, can also take advantage of exclusive access to the following onsite benefits:

American Express Priority Line: Card members can enjoy a dedicated priority line for faster entry into the festival

American Express Lounge Access: Card members can take advantage of the exclusive onsite lounge where they can enjoy complimentary water and snacks available throughout the event, along with a private bar area

Reserved Seating: There will be reserved seating available on a first come, first served basis for American Express card members at the special events for the Taste Theatre, Tasting Room and Metro Master Class events.

American Express card members can also purchase various bundle offers available through American Express Invites for any of the six half-day sessions.  The packages each include two General Admission entrances into the festival, fast-track entry to a Taste of Toronto session, access into the American Express Lounge, two drink vouchers that can be redeemed in the American Express Lounge, and a $50 gift card to one of the following restaurants: Bar Buca, Buca Osteria & Enoteca (King St. West) or Buca Osteria & Bar (Yorkville). On top of that, additional Amex exclusive events will be announced in the coming month for select card members.
