A&W Canada’s annual Burgers to Beat MS initiative returns

A&W Canada’s annual Burgers to Beat MS Day is returning on August 20, marking 18 years of helping Canadians affected by multiple sclerosis. On August 20, $2 from every Teen Burger sold at A&W restaurants across Canada will be donated to MS Canada. Donations help drive world-class MS research focused on understanding the disease better, halting its progression, developing new treatments and early detection aimed at preventing MS for future generations.

This year’s campaign welcomes Olympic gold medalist and PWHL Vancouver Goldeneyes goaltender Kristen Campbell as the official spokesperson. Campbell brings a deeply personal connection to the initiative as her mother, Janet, has lived with MS for 27 years, inspiring Kristen to use her platform to raise awareness and encourage Canadians to support the cause.

Since partnering with MS Canada in 2008, A&W has raised more than $23 million through Burgers to Beat MS, demonstrating how a simple meal can make a meaningful difference for Canadian families. As Canada continues to have one of the highest rates of MS in the world – with someone diagnosed every two hours – the campaign serves as an opportunity for Canadians to come together in support of a cause that touches communities across the country.
