New trendy Starbucks drinks available outside of the Roastery for the first time

As Valentine’s Day comes to a close, we said goodbye to Starbucks’ chocolatey Valentine’s Day drinks. However, Starbucks has soothed your pain by introducing two new drinks, available February 16 for a limited time in Canada and the U.S.

The Smoked Butterscotch Latte and the Citrus Green Tea Latte were created at Seattle’s Roastery and Tasting Room, a storefront where many drinks are tested and experimented with and customers can get drinks not offered at any other Starbucks location. These two beverages are the first drinks that will be offered outside of the Roastery. Both of these drinks can be made hot, iced or as a Frappuccino.

The Smoked Butterscotch latte is made from steamed milk, a shot of espresso, smoked butterscotch sauce and a sprinkling of smoky butterscotch topping. The smoky flavour balances the sweetness from the sauce and enhances the coffee flavour.

The Citrus Green Tea Latte combines steamed milk with matcha powder, sweetened with citrus mint syrup. This drink is finished with lemon essence topping.

If you are looking for something a little different or trendy, try one of these on your next coffee run.
