TORONTO, ON — Paramount Fine Foods is taking steps to ease some of the burden caused by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
“It’s about supporting each other and understanding that everyone is experiencing hardship right now,” says Mohamad Fakih, founder of the Middle Eastern restaurant chain. “We must come together as a community to best support one another and fight through this together as one strong entity.”
Mohamad and his team at Paramount Fine Foods are taking action to help the chain’s employees and people in the community, including:
- Paramount Fine Foods will donate nearly 2,000 meals to food banks and shelters across the Greater Toronto Area to support the most vulnerable in these uncertain times.
- Fakih and Paramount Fine Foods will be working with Feed Our Heroes, an initiative to support hard-working frontline healthcare workers through meal delivery.
- All frontline workers at Paramount Fine Foods will receive 50% off the price of staff meals.
“We hope that through these initiatives we are able to help and provide service to many people in need of support,” says Fakih. “It is times like these where we must give to those in need and help provide for those who are taking care of us.”
