Brand continues Canadian expansion by bringing Louisiana flavors to the West
Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Inc. will expand into Western Canada with Franchisees opening locations across Edmonton and Calgary by the end of 2017. The South meets the West as more Canadians will have access to the brand’s Louisiana-inspired fried chicken and seafood.
Starting this November, the first Edmonton location will open in the Tamarack area, followed by the first Calgary location in Forest Lawn. Subsequent locations will be opening throughout the fall and into the spring of 2017. The chain reached a milestone last year with its 100th franchised restaurant opening in Canada and it continues to grow as a leader in the quick-service restaurant market.
