In this edition of “concepts to watch,” we highlight three restaurant concepts that are making an impact on Canadian diners. Here’s a look at the characteristics and menu offerings that make these restaurants unique:

The Green Panther/La Panthere Verte

  • A vegan/vegetarian concept focusing on meat-free dishes made with alternative proteins like tofu and tempeh

  • Makes use of locally sourced and organic products when available

  • A fast-casual concept serving authentic Neapolitan pizzas
  • Expansion through franchise opportunities throughout the greater Montreal area
  • Also operates a food truck, which can be reserved for events

  • Pizza varieties like Marinara, Margherita, Porcini with White Truffle Oil, Porchetta, Sweet Italian Sausage, Organic Salami, Spicy Pancetta & Figs and a dessert Pizza Nutella
  • Other food items include salads, Burrata with marinated vegetables, charcuterie, biscotti, cannoli and tiramisu
  • Beverages include alcohol options like wine and beer and non-alcoholic options like soda and sparkling water
