A refreshing, cold beverage is the perfect treat on a warm day. With summer just around the corner, we want to enjoy ourselves, but we also want to fit into our bathing suits. Frappuccinos at Starbucks may not be the healthiest drink, but as we know, portion control is everything. Starting on May 16, Starbucks re-released the Mini Frappuccino. This is a 10-ounce version of the same drink you know and love but slightly smaller than the 12-ounce tall size.
Offering consumers a smaller size of this frozen beverage could be just what you need this summer. If you want to feel like you are enjoying something tasty without tons of calories, the Mini Frappuccino is your answer. On average, the Mini has 120 calories, whereas a tall has 180 calories. These calories really add up over time and those few sips can really make a difference. You will still be able to enjoy all the Frappuccino flavours that are available, just in a more guilt-free way. Whether you prefer mocha, S’mores, Caramel, or any other flavour, this little treat is sure to satisfy all your Frappuccino cravings.
While available in Starbucks locations throughout Canada and the United States, these are only offered for a limited time. These were first debuted last year and were quite popular.
If you would like to enjoy a delicious beverage while also watching your calories, the portion-controlled Mini Frappuccino is your new best friend for the summer. This doesn’t necessarily mean that it is healthy, but enjoyed in moderation and in smaller portions, there is no reason to deprive yourself.
