This Valentine’s Day if you are hosting a party or just feel like getting creative, check out some ideas below for some Valentine’s Day-inspired treats.
This rich, chocolatey dessert is romantic, tasty and incredibly easy to whip up in the kitchen. Bonus points for using a cookie cutter to make heart-shaped brownies.
2. Chocolate Fondue
Chocolate is the official food of Valentine’s Day, so why not keep it flowing all night? With a variety of dippers such as strawberries, bananas and marshmallows, you are sure to have some fun. You can even try romantically feeding it to your sweetie!
Regardless of the type of cookie, this is an easy food to make into a heart shape. Use a cookie cutter for your chocolate chip, sugar or shortbread cookies and feel free to decorate with red or pink icing and/or sprinkles.
4. Red Velvet
This is the perfect dessert for the holiday since it is already red! Whether you make a cake or cupcakes, the work is already done for you unless you feel like getting extra creative and decorating.
Anything red works here, such as a cranberry juice cocktail or red wine. Having a drink or two for this special occasion can really add some romance and fun into the evening. You can even make the drinks alcohol-free if drinking is not your thing.
However you decide to spend Valentine’s Day, indulging in some sweet treats is never a bad idea, even if just for one day!
