Toronto Taste is back, bringing together culinary superstars to support local communities for another year

Toronto’s landmark culinary event, Toronto Taste, is back with extra zest. On Sunday, June 3, the event will bring together the crème de la crème of the city’s food scene, including title-holders on Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants.

Hailed as the year’s best showcase of local culinary talent, the event is also a significant annual fundraiser for Second Harvest, Canada’s largest food rescue charity. Funds raised through ticket sales help support their mission to feed people experiencing hunger in the Greater Toronto Area.

Since 1991, Toronto Taste has raised over $13 million in support of Second Harvest’s food rescue program. Presented by the Daniels Corporation, the event has enabled the organization to rescue enough fresh, surplus food to support hundreds of social service agencies across the GTA with more than 31 million meals for children, adults and seniors experiencing hunger in our city. This year, the goal is to raise enough funds to provide 1.9 million meals.

With an all-inclusive ticket, Toronto Taste guests will enjoy the season’s most exclusive dishes and drinks from some of the industry’s best as voted by Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants Magazine. The event will feature over 100 of Toronto’s most sought-after restaurant and beverage purveyors, including:

New Restaurants Participating This Year:

  • Café Cancan, French bistro from Chef Victor Barry (of Piano Piano, Splendido and Fika)
  • Hexagon, modern French restaurant from Chef Rafael Covarrubias
  • Il Covo, Italian cicchetti from Chef Ryan Campbell (of Buca and Buca Yorkville)
  • Mira, Peruvian restaurant from Chef Stuart Cameron (of Byblos and Patria)
  • Bar Buca, Italian-style snack bar from Chef Rob Gentile (of Buca and Buca Yorkville), whose team will be pulling fresh mozzarella

Tickets are now available at a cost of $260 each, with a $150 tax receipt. Every ticket sold enables Second Harvest to rescue and deliver enough food to provide over 520 meals.
