ORHMA develops best-practices guide for reopening

To help ease the confusion and apprehension surrounding the reopening of hospitality businesses across the province, the Ontario Restaurant Hotel and Motel Association (ORHMA), in conjunction with legal advisors, government agencies, and other industry experts, has released a practical guide and support program called DineSafe.

As described by the ORHMA, the program focuses “on processes that protect staff and guests and exceed health and safety expectations” to provide a “roadmap to restaurant recovery.”

The program’s website includes links to an in-depth reopening guide, a reopening checklist covering areas such as adjustments to entrances, menus, and payment methods, and a list of industry resources.

Companies that would like to be considered for inclusion in the resources listing can contact the ORHMA’s board of director Jason Cheskes at Jason@AbovetheLineSolutions.com.
