The Canadian Culinary Federation (CCFCC) and MediaEDGE Communications form a strategic media partnership, expanding coverage to the Canadian foodservice industry

Press release

MediaEDGE Communications, an industry-leading publisher of dozens of respected trade and association publications (print and digital), has announced that Canadian Restaurant & Foodservice News (CRFN Magazine) will be expanding its coverage to include members of the Canadian Culinary Federation (CCFCC) through a strategic media partnership arrangement. Beginning with the October/November 2016 issue of CRFN, a specific CCFCC magazine insert will appear in all issues. The CCFCC insert will provide updates on various association activities, upcoming events, membership profiles, culinary competition results, member education programming and more. Each print edition will also be released via MediaEDGE’s impressive array of foodservice industry digital and social media platforms.

CRFN Magazine delivers practical, relevant, timely and engaging information to help foodservice operators improve and grow their business while connecting them to Canada’s foodservice supply chain. In an industry that generates more than $75 billion a year in total revenues and employs more than one million people, CRFN has established itself as the authoritative voice of the Canadian foodservice industry through its continuing strategic partnerships with industry organizations, trade associations, consultants, foodservice owners/operators, foodservice suppliers and industry thought leaders.

With its coverage expanded to now include CCFCC members, CRFN will continue to provide insight into the latest food and beverage trends, industry research and innovation. Consumer statistics, business advice from respected foodservice consultants and regulatory news will round out its editorial coverage. CRFN is distributed six times a year to a diverse, national demographic and is mailed annually to 70,000 Canadian foodservice industry professionals, including: quick-service restaurants, full-service restaurants, accommodation foodservice, institutional foodservice, drinking places and recreation foodservice. CRFN has a total foodservice industry database that exceeds 167,000 individual records which makes it the leader in the industry.

CRFN is complemented by its digital media properties, www.Restobiz.ca (website) and RestoBizBYTES (e-newsletter). These digital media products are read by tens of thousands of foodservice and restaurant industry professionals each month and will now also contain CCFCC association information and updates.
