Paramount Fine Foods is opening Canada’s first fully automated restaurant in Toronto this June.
Located at 4 King Street Wes, Box’d offers a convenient way for Torontonians to get food on the go. Orders can be placed via the Box’d app or at the in-house kiosk and picked up in the restaurant’s cubbies and shelves. Within the restaurant, guests will be made aware of when their food is ready via digital status boards.
Chef Tomer Markovitz created the Box’d menu, which features lunch and dinner selections with a Middle Eastern twist, including vegan and vegetarian options and Paramount’s signature hummus. Sustainable packaging and express menu options round out the innovative new concept.
“We are excited to bring the Box’d experience to Toronto,” said Mohamad Fakih of Box’d by Paramount Fine Foods. “Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, many Torontonians chose to cook their meals at home, but as the restrictions ease and more businesses open people are looking forward to eating out. We understand that people may still be a little wary of public places, so we have created a dining option that is fast, efficient, and safe.”
