The Ontario Restaurant, Hotel, and Motel Association (ORHMA) has partnered with Foodbuy Canada, North America’s largest procurement services company.
The collaboration will see Foodbuy use over $2 billion in Canadian purchasing power to leverage over 400 contracted suppliers to give ORHMA members access to over 35,000 rebatable SKUs.
Foodbuy is the procurement sector of Compass Group and holds tremendous purchase volume that enables them to deliver unmatched cost savings.
An ORHMA statement notes that in “difficult times”, it continues to strategically outsource programs and partners to assist with watching restaurants’ bottom line and controlling expense line items.
Foodbuy will assist by analyzing purchases and provide detailed reporting on optimizing savings. The monthly rebate cheques assist foodservice operators with continued cashflow all while reaping savings on food purchases.
“ORHMA is proud to work together with Foodbuy in a program that delivers
enormous value to our members,” says President and CEO Tony Elenis. “Knowing that food market prices will continue to climb with a tough recovery road ahead, the ORHMA and Foodbuy teams have assembled a dynamite package of convenience and savings that will favourably support a foodservice operation’s bottom line.”
Chris Delaney, Foodbuy’s VP of Growth, Canada, adds: “Together, Foodbuy and ORHMA will bring improved program coverage and savings to members. We commit to servicing members with the highest level of customer value and experience through innovative and flexible procurement solutions.”
Together, the two organizations will bring improved program coverage and savings to members. The statement notes the association will be reaching out to its members.
