More restaurant menus embrace fall flavours

Although fall is already underway, some QSRs have only recently decided to launch their seasonal menus. As the pumpkin craze continues, many other flavours are popping up in the new fall menus, from beverages to food, for a fun take on fall.

Wendy’s has launched a late fall lineup, adding four new items to the menu for the season. The recent additions include the Caramel Toffee Frosty®, Toasty Coconut Crave Iced Coffee and Frosty-ccino®, Mango Habanero Dipping Sauce, and Dill Pickle Dipping Sauce. Items are available now for a limited time.

Arby’s recently expanded its menu, introducing a brand-new item: steak nuggets. Described by the company as “tender, juicy, hand-cut bite-sized pieces of steak seasoned with garlic and pepper for a bold, smoky flavour,” the product was launched after a successful trial run in December 2024. The item is available in three different iterations: a five or nine-count pack with hickory BBQ sauce, a sandwich with Havarti cheese, crispy onions, tangy pickles, and mayo on a toasted bun, or in a bowl, featured on top of white cheddar mac ‘n cheese and crispy onions.

Dunkin’s fall menu was released earlier this year, but they have now launched a Halloween menu for the season. To get into the spirit, a new Candy Bar Signature Latte is now available, alongside returning Halloween favourites including the Spider Donut and Halloween MUNCHKINS® Bucket, featuring themed MUNCHKINS covered in chocolate and orange sprinkles. Merchandise featuring the Spider Donut has also been released as part of this collection.

Protein is on the menu with Starbucks’ newest menu additions, including protein lattes like the Iced Banana Cream Protein Matcha, which contains 24 grams of protein, and the Iced Vanilla Cream Protein Latte. Also available are new protein cold foams that can be added to favourite drinks in flavours including banana, vanilla, sugar-free vanilla, chocolate, matcha, salted caramel, brown sugar, and plain flavours, with seasonal options like pumpkin and pecan.

Soon enough, holiday menus will be emerging, as operators try and introduce innovative and unique LTOs that attract attention, drive traffic, and encourage repeat visits.
