With spring on the horizon, consumers can get excited about warmer weather and seasonal flavours, now starting to appear on spring menus. While it’s still early in the season, some QSRs are getting a head start on spring with early launches, new menu items, and seasonal LTOs.
Starbucks has recently announced new items on the menu this spring, available for a limited time starting March 4. Newest additions include the Iced Cherry Chai, Jalapeño Chicken Pocket, Spicy Falafel Pocket, alongside the Iced Lavender Cream Oat Matcha, Iced Lavender Latte and Lavender Crème Frappuccino® Blended Beverage, returning again this season.
Dunkin’s spring menu, launching in two parts, started on March 5, with Pistachio Hot or Iced Coffee, Ham and Cheese Sliders, and the return of the Dunkalatte, Chicken Bacon Croissant Stuffers, and Sweet Black Pepper Seasoned Snackin’ Bacon. Starting April 2, the menu will feature three new items including a Cotton Candy Speciality Donut, Blueberry Sprinkled Munchkins, and Spring Munchkins Buckets.
Taco Bell launched its spring menu in late February, getting an early start on the season. Adding savoury items like the Steak & Queso Crunchwrap Sliders and a new Caliente Chicken Cantina Menu that includes existing Cantina Chicken options enhanced with Caliente sauce and Avocado Salsa Verde, featuring the Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco, Cantina Chicken Soft Taco, Cantina Chicken Burrito, Cantina Chicken Quesadilla, and the Cantina Chicken Bowl.
Dairy Queen has added three new items to the menu as part of their spring menu. New additions include the blue Crunchin’ Cookie Dip Cone, Wild Alaskan Pacific Cod Sandwich, and the Orange Cream Shake, all brand-new, first-time items on the menu.
Chick-fil-A has announced the addition of two new menu items on their spring roster. Starting March 17, the Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich will return to menus and this time guests can choose from grilled, spicy, or original to create their preferred version. The Pineapple Dragonfruit beverage is also a new spring feature, available for a limited time only.
